WV Authors Card Game

First published in 1861, the much-loved Authors card game has appeared in many versions over the years and has inspired a love of reading in generations of young people.  Our West Virginia Version celebrates 11 Mountain State authors on 44 cards.  The object is to collect the complete sets by calling for cards from other players.  

Distinctive author portraits by West Virginia artist Payton Brown bring the authors to life for players, and recognizable colors and numbered book titles open the matching game to pre-readers for all-family fun.  Ages 4 and up.  3-5 players
